We are located on the lovely island of Barra, in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Many writers and reviewers, including some of our guests, have called Barra "the most beautiful island in Britain".
The Bayview Guest House / Bed and Breakfast overlooks Castlebay, the main centre of the island. The views across the bay from the guest house are truly stunning.

We stayed for two nights in August. This is possibly the best B&B we have used and certainly the best value for money we found during a tour of the Outer Hebrides.

We arrived early to be warmly welcomed by Barbara. She showed us to our lovely en-suite room, and spent some time getting to know us and gave us some very helpful tips for things to do on the island. The guest house is beautiful, tastefully decorated with rustic charm, and both Barbara and Martin could not have done enough to make us feel at home.
